News for #Facebook Page Owners: The New Version of Facebook Page Insights is Here

Earlier this year Facebook invited Page owners to try a new version of #FacebookPageInsights designed to help create better content and provide admins with more information about the people that visit their pages. Today, after gathering feedback from the early users of the new Page Insights, we’re rolling out the updated Page Insights to all Page owners, and introducing some new, highly requested features as well.
Key features:
1.  Simpler metrics
To help Page admins better see how people interact with their content, we split the People Talking About This (PTAT) metric into separate elements: Page Likes, People Engaged (the number of unique people who have clicked on, liked, commented on, or shared your posts), Page tags and mentions, Page checkins and other interactions on a Page.
2.  The Virality metric was also renamed Engagement Rate and, in order to help admins better gauge overall post quality, now includes clicks as part of its measurements.
3.  Tools to publish better content
We’ve aggregated all the metrics for positive interactions (likes, comments, shares and clicks) and negative interactions (hide post, hide all posts, report as spam, unlike page) into a post-specific score card, so marketers can evaluate positive and negative metrics side-by-side for each post.
4.  Insights about people interacting with your page
Now, Page Insights allows you to see not only who you’ve reached – but also who you’ve engaged. This can help Page admins identify how content resonates with different audiences and make more informed decisions about their Page content and strategy.
5.  A new Page Insights Export

We’ve added an option to download the new Page Insights Export, so Page owners using and tracking the new metrics in Page Insights can update their custom reporting template. For now, the old Export option remains available as well.
6.  Each post has its own unique “Scorecard” so you can see at-a-glance your positive and negative metrics on each post. To access a post’s scorecard, look on the Overview tab or Posts tab and click on an individual post.
7.  There are 6 new tabs: Overview, Likes, Reach, Visits, Posts, and People.
